The show was announced on May 16, 2017 and Nickelodeon ordered 20 episodes for Season 1. The show will likely premiere in early-2018.

Knight Squad is set at a magical school for knights in training, where two mismatched students form an unlikely alliance to protect each other’s secret and pursue their dreams. [3]

Nickelodeon announced that it ordered 20 episodes for the the first season of the show and the series is slated to begin production in the fall of 2017 in Los Angeles.[4]
